5. Rative produse which is not packed or not properly turked and numbered, and therefore not readily identifiable at port of destination as being the same as that declared at port of shipment, may be transhipped at a foreign port, but shall not be entitled to the privilege of being treated as native produce at port of destination.

6. When native produce declared for transhipment either into steauer or Junk at a foreign port, and accepted as such by the Custoom at original port of clearance, does not reach the Open

ort specified within two months from the date of original shipment, it shell on arrival be regarded as having lost its native status and be treated accordingly. The only exception to this time imit of two months is in the case of mative goods shipped between the Open Forts in the province of Yunnan and other Cpan Ports in China via a foreign port or ports when the time limit allowed shall be four months.

8. when substitution has taken place while the goods are en route from port of shipment to port of destination, the goods shall be confiscated by the Customs at the port of destination without any fine on the original exporter.

9. The Chinese Customs documents, including copies of original Applications, weight wecoranda, etc., covering native produce shipped from one Open ort to another Cpen Port via a foreign port or porta, if declared for transhipment at such foreign port or ports shall be sent by post to the Commissioner of customs at Open Fort or destination.
